This week has been complete shit. Let me tell you why. For starters my crazy ass cat will not stop bringing critters into my clean, sanitary home. And by critters I mean the living and dead kind. Like, right now as I'm typing this there is a half-live bird in my bedroom. Since we moved into this house there has been a constant stream of snakes, moles, field mice and frogs left in my hallway, laundry room and bedroom. Also said cat who dont get me wrong is the sweetest most loyal creature I've ever owned has been tearing things apart lately like, my sons inflatable bathtub, his inflatable pool and my couch and mattress. She was cooped up in our house for nearly two months recently due to some health problems and I think she's punishing me. I've been feeling pretty sluggish lately. I got food poisoning two weeks ago and my stomach still hasnt fully recovered. On tuesday, some teenage punk came flying around the corner in his shitty honda accord and almost fucking hit me. I told him to slow down and he called me a 'fucking fat bitch'. I'm fat because I'm pregnant you motherfucker and I hope I see you again when I'm not pregnant so I can teach you a fucking lesson about respecting your elders. Actually I hope he gets in a very serious car accident and loses use of his legs. When that happens and I see him crossing the street in his wheelchair I'm going to speed up and scare the shit out of him. Then when he tells me to slow down I'm going to call him a 'fucking cripple'. A girl can dream. What's a good substitution for a really strong gin and tonic? I need one, desperately.
We have our first ultrasound on Monday kids. I'm kinda skeptical because I've been failed in the past. Place your bets!
So first off, I've been busy folks. Even though maybe like three people ever freaking look at this. This year has really flown by. Christian is getting bigger and bigger each day and learning everything so fast. Kirk and I are happy and still very much in love. We are expecting little one number 2 in december! WooHoo! My 23rd birthday was last month and even Steph made a special trip from Virginia to come spend it with us. Also, Kirks youngest brother Chris got married to his longtime girlfriend Roxy last month too! Their wedding was beautiful and Kirk and I had both had the honor of being in the wedding party. It was stressful and hectic but a very memorable experience. I really should start keeping a notepad around because I had a ton more to write about. Now I'm sitting here racking my brain for some quality material. Maybe I'll invest in some post its, it might make this blog more entertaining to read. Keep it real loyal readers (all three of you).
My teeth are in bad shape and my insurance will not cover even a quarter of the expense. So if anyone knows a dentist around these parts willing to sacrifice some hours filling my teeth I would be eternally grateful.
So for our wedding Kirks parents gave us these financial planning classes to go to. Sounds good in theory right? Wrong. What Kirk's parents neglected to tell us was that these classes are based upon 'The Christian way of Life", like about how " a good christian is supposed to tithe a certain amount of money to the church, etc etc...". Kirk's dad even sold my mom on this shit and told her that Kirks sister and her husband took it and now they save so much money every year. Basically this whole class is common sense. Set a budget. Dont spend more than you make. Have 'Emergency Funding' in the bank at all times. The same shit your parents told you when you moved out. I feel fucking bamboozled. Its like they're trying to brainwash me. Fortunately, I'm not easily persuaded by anything and I'm way too fucking intelligent to follow them down their happy path of righteousness. Jeebus. In other news, the kid is getting teeth and still wont sleep through the night and I'm selling a size 4 wedding gown, an ipod nano, two COACH bags and a coffee table if anyone is interested. Peace and Bacon grease.
